The Jewish Museum’s two galleries, “Confronting Modernity” and “Interpreting a Tradition” were updated and reconfigured to allow a new design scheme and an assortment of new and existing showcases for some of the world’s finest Jewish artifacts and collections. Maltbie was commissioned to revise the galleries an assignment that included all demolition works and all the services needed to transform the galleries. Maltbie was responsible for installing all of the artifacts, supplying and installing all of the audio visual equipment and for matching existing finishes within the museum.
