Our Work
The new $12.8 million Arab American Museum in Dearborn is the nation’s first Arab-American Museum. The Museum’s goal is to preserve the Arab cultural heritage and celebrate life in a new land. There are three main exhibits which tell the story of Arab Americans: “Where We Came From”, “Coming to America”, and “Contributing to America.” Each gallery includes interactive exhibits, videos and artifacts. The Museum also has a 160 seat theater and art gallery. Maltbie was responsible for all joinery scenic works, vignettes, showcases, graphics and coordination.
