Our Work
The Connecticut Science Center is a new 144,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art Science Center along the Connecticut River in Hartford. It is a stunning new symbol of innovation, learning and vitality that will inspire the next generation of researchers, discoverers, inventors, healers, teachers, and better informed citizens. Maltbie produced 20,000 sq. ft. of new exhibits and interactives for four separate galleries; Sports Lab, Smart Energy, Planet Earth and A River of Life. Visitors are able to Jump, cycle, bounce, dance, compete and play their way through the Sports Lab. Immersive environments provide different lenses through which visitors experience the science beyond sports and other recreational activities as well as the evolving technologies that improve performance and safety.
