Babe Ruth Birthplace & Museum opened its second site called “Sports Legends at Camden Yards” showcasing Maryland’s sports heritage with a state-of-the-art interactive experience. Exhibits explore the history of Baltimore’s Orioles, Colts, Ravens and Blast, Negro League Baltimore Black Sox and Elite Giants, collegiate sports such as the University of Maryland Terrapins, Naval Academy and the area’s unique sports of lacrosse, jousting and duckpin bowling. Located in the historical terminal of the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad, “Sports Legends at Camden Yards” honors the station’s historic role in the American story.
