Our Work
The Heritage Center & Museum is the new home of the American Quarter Horse Association. Located on Interstate 40 in Amarillo, the museum features Quarter Horse history, outstanding horses and horsemen and the sports built around this popular breed. The project includes 14,000 square feet of exhibits that include casework, silk screened graphics, photomurals, a diorama, electro-mechanical elements and a stunning “Great Hall” featuring 44 painted metal banners hanging from the ceiling in front of a large twenty-five foot square color electronically scanned photo mural. Maltbie was responsible for construction drawings, engineering, fabrication, and installation of all elements.
