Job Summary The drafting team at Maltbie is a multi-disciplinary team that supports the design development and fabrication of experience based exhibit projects. Many of these exhibits include basic cabinetry components to more complex elements including glass, steel and other material forms. In addition, the company provides high-end electro– mechanical interactives to the end user that includes motion, electronically activated components and other various methods of operation. The successful individual will also be expected to proficiently produce CAD drawings on numerous projects as well as be knowledgeable in multiple cross platform drawings programs.
Key Results Areas Detailing Coordination Quality Attention to Detail
Job Specifications: Relevant Experience Minimum 4 years professional CAD experience producing 2D and 3D shop drawings utilizing Auto CAD 2008 and a high degree of knowledge of Inventor 2008. Experienced in high quality exhibit fabrication, electrical/mechanical interactives including but not limited to AV systems integration, architectural millwork and cabinetry build out. Knowledge of basic and complex fabrication practices is required.
Relevant Education Associates degree, bachelors a plus, in drafting and design with at least 4 years project CAD experience.
